The more our technology advances, the more we become dependent on energy to continue our way of life. Unfortunately our energy production technologies have not kept pace with our innovation in other fields. Various reasons can be debated on the reasons why, but looking ahead this should not be our concern. Instead we should free ourselves to discover the most efficient and affordable energy sources for the future.

I believe we should tax exempt any company and it's employee's, that solely works on creating and selling sources of alternate power that is both clean and renewable. The federal government should not subsidize any source, this is equivalent to guessing what will work and rewarding those who are well connected to government and not those who really have the best ideas for the future. Instead we should let new energies evolve from the free market.

Giving an initial incentive of a 25-30% increase in salary and profits for simply working in the field of sustainable energy, companies and theirs employees can create an energy source that a large group of Americans and the world can use. The Federal Government should not help special interests that are trying to feed off our taxes through subsidizes. I believe an open and free market is the only thing that is going to give us the true clean energy sources of the future.
