Immigration has played an important part in the development of the United States, and it should continue to play a part in our future. We should give every person a chance at the American Dream, if they follow the rules. Right now we have a real issue with Border Security and Immigration, below are some things I think would help get us back on track:

• Secure our borders and coastlines with our Military and Coast Guard. This is also part of creating a strong National Defense. Our troops should be where they are needed to be to defend this country. We must do whatever it takes to control illegal entry into our country before we can even begin to solve our illegal immigration problem.
  
  
• We must take away the incentives for people to illegally enter our country in the first place. This means NO Free Health Care, NO Free Schooling, and NO Free Anything at taxpayer expense! The American tax payers should not bear the burden of these people.
  
  
• Address the "anchor baby issue." A child's American citizenship should not be used as a legal excuse for illegal immigrant parents to remain in the country and receive government benefits.
  
  
• Pass real immigration reform. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same regulations and waiting periods. Currently the system is very unfair to some people interested in coming to the United States. This causes certain people to break our laws and enter the United States illegally. A level playing field for all people will create a fair and enforceable immigration policy.
